Our Experience with Luno Collapsible Dog Bowl
There’s never a dull moment when you’re away from home and forget your pup’s bowl during mealtime. All it took was one roadside dinner dilemma with my dog for me to invest in a collapsible dog bowl, and I’ve since become a firm believer that you can never own too many of them. With this in mind, I was excited to try out Luno’s Collapsible Dog Bowl for my Goldendoodle, Micah.
I ordered the cream and burnt orange bowls and when the products arrived, they were packaged with a thank you card and a Luno sticker. The thank you note was a nice added touch and you’ve got to love a company that includes a free sticker.
The first thing I noticed about the bowls was the thick, durable material. Micah and I spend a lot of time outdoors, so finding a bowl that’s practical and durable is important to me. After trying them out, all I can say is Luno hit every mark!
The exterior holds up well against outdoor elements, like dirt and snow, and the waterproof interior means I can use it for food and water. When the bowl is rolled up, the heavy-duty strap keeps it tightly packed, and when it’s open, the strap conveniently attaches to a Velcro. It also fits almost anywhere when compressed down to a small size, which is great for minimalist packing and perfect for storing in a bag during longer walks and hikes.
If there’s one feature I use a lot, it’s the carabiner hang loop. The hang loop maximizes carrying options and makes it easy to carry two bowls at the same time. The design is incredibly functional as well. For starters, the outer rim of the bowl acts like a platform and raises your dog’s food and water off the ground. Since the waterproof liner only hangs halfway down, your pup gets the luxury of having a raised meal instead of eating and drinking on the ground. It’s unlike anything I’ve seen with other travel bowls and I’m sure Micah loves it as much as I do!
The colors are great too! The bowl gives off an outdoorsy, rugged vibe, which matches the voice of the brand and is perfect for activities, like camping and backpacking. I love having both colors so I can designate one color for food and the other for water.
Since Micah is a messy eater and drinker, I was concerned about how the bowls would wash given the fabric-like material. But a quick rinse and wipe down was all that was needed for them to look brand new.
After being rolled and compressed, it does take some bending and pulling for the bowls to open completely, which is something to keep in mind when using them. Overall, I would highly recommend Luno’s Collapsible Dog Bowl. Not only is it incredibly practical but its high-quality design means your pup will be adventuring with it for years to come.
